The wireless headphones are of the over-ear type and have an abundant design, not very practical to carry on the move without the supplied case. They are very pleasant to look at and give a nice impression of solidity. Perhaps only the size of the pads could be more abundant for this type of design.
The buttons are well laid out and do not bother during normal use, half-hidden in the headphones’ overall design. The almost total black appearance makes these devices elegant and pleasing to the eye.

The bass is deep and hard and dry when needed, and even the not extremely low frequencies return the correct sonic feedback. Even the user who loves pumped bass, so to speak, will find the right satisfaction with the use of these headphones, certainly by adopting the appropriate settings at the source, which is a level amplifier or other cheaper device.
The detail is correctly returned in the medium frequency range, with the right amount of heat and detail, making the listener appreciate the sound definition while listening to both musical instruments and the voice, which is returned neutral and precise from the speakers.
The higher frequencies are also faithfully returned, and I dare to say perfectly. Even the youngest listeners, who are notoriously more sensitive to this range, will find satisfaction in appreciating the lighter and more enjoyable nuances during playback.
We now come to the possibility of using external noise attenuation, very fashionable lately and equally appreciated by the public.
In these headphones, it works, and it works really well: the background noises are lowered really considerably, making listening really pleasant even in anything but silent environments: think of a more or less crowded room, rather than the use in mobility in particularly noisy environments such as trains, buses, subways, or more simply walking on the street (be careful in this case: it could be dangerous not to pay attention to road sounds).
In any case, this convenience brings with it an inevitable decrease in the audio quality transmitted by the Plantronics Backbeat Pro: the sound detail is affected in a not negligible way, and I personally recommend disabling this option when you are in quiet environments: you will appreciate all the best the qualities of this excellent headphones.
Obviously, the higher audio quality will be appreciably using the supplied cable, admitted and not allowed to have a discrete audio source to be used.
Bluetooth wireless connectivity is really convenient to use, especially when you are not at home, I must admit, but something is lost in terms of audio definition. Certainly, wired listening brings greater satisfaction to the listening experience.
Wireless technology has made great strides in recent years in terms of audio fidelity, and Plantronics BackBeat Pro is an excellent example of how they can combine practicality and quality without paying incredibly high amounts.
